Influenza A(H1N1) / Swine flu
The World Health Organisation (WHO) Pandemic Threat Alert Phase has been raised to Level 6. Please read the information provided by the WHO. There is a dedicated Swine flu page on the FCO website. Guidance on the pandemic flu can be obtained from the UK Department of Health.
There is as yet no proven case of Swine Flu in

Tami flu is available for treatment of confirmed cases. It is also advisable to maintain a high standard of hygiene such as regular hand washing to minimise risk of infection.
